Winter Program 2022 / 2023

The East Coast ILCA Winter Program will include 5-6 major events on the ILCA North American calendar, as well as additional training camps at each regatta location prior to the regatta starting. Winter programs will run from November 1st – March 31st, predominantly out of Florida, however other locations will be considered.  Sailors are encouraged to participate in as many regattas and clinics as their schedule allows.

Sailors will who wish to attend the winter regattas or clinics will be assisted with the planning and organization for the logistics for the trip.  Things such as ILCA charters, accommodations, airport pick-ups and drop-offs, boat transfers etc,  will all be considered when planning your winter.

The cost of each regatta or training clinic will be on a “pay per event” with costs split among the athletes.  Depending on the size of the group, location, and costs incurred,  sailors can expect to pay $125-$150 per day for coaching fees.  Coaches, parents and sailors are all encouraged to assist in the planning of each event, this is a great way to reduce costs!

Coaching Fees include:  Coach wages, coach boat usage (Florida events only), and coaches accommodations (Florida events only).

Coaching Fees do not include:  Sailors accommodations, food, transport, regatta / clinic registration fees, coach boat gas used during the event, boat storage during event / clinic times, or any other expenses inccured outside of the set training / regatta dates.

Group Size Max: 1o sailors per coach / Group Size Minimum: 1 sailor
